So as usual I surfed Pinterest until I found this!!
I saw several different versions and of course none of them were BSU so I had to get creative! [I even stole a toy horse from my daughter to use as the "Bronco"]
So I started with a can of refried beans and mixed about 3 spoonfuls of light sour cream and about a cup of shredded chedder cheese in a pan on the stove. Stir until mixed and melted.
Note to self: wait until beans are COOLED. I had to use things to hold them until they cooled and would stay in place. [Don't worry there are crackers between the beans and the card board]
I was in a huge hurry so I made the guacamole super fast. I used about 8 avocados, half a bottle of salsa, the juice of half a lemon [I didn't have lime], onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
Next I added the guac and smoothed them out. Much like icing a cake.
And finally I open a can of cheese [This cheese tastes just like the nacho cheese you would get at an event, it was really good] My only regret was that the cheese looked yellow instead of orange [like BSU] So next time I think I would add some orange food coloring.
For the white lines I piped sour cream through a hole cut in a platic bag. For the "BSU" I added food coloring to the sour cream and again piped it through a bag.
For the goal posts I bought "Slim Jims" and cut them. They are held together by tooth picks.
I also need to find a way to keep the guacamole greener to look like grass....maybe food coloring?
This definately took some work, but it was fun! Everyone loved it and almost the whole thing got eaten [Including the goal posts]!
We even won that night!
Cheers! Go Broncos!
